Croatia Elopement & Intimate Wedding Photographer
For couples choosing something smaller.
I'm Clive, a Londoner now living on the island of Brač. I'm a documentary photographer and I photograph intimate weddings and elopements across Dalmatia from Dubrovnik to Split, Hvar and Brač, for couples travelling from the UK, Canada and the US.

Real emotions that tell the story of your day.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding in Dalmatia or an elopement in Dubrovnik, get in touch and tell me about your day.
Documenting intimate weddings, elopements and micro celebrations across Croatia

From London to Dalmatia.
My connection to Croatia didn’t begin with a camera — it began as a groom.
Being English and living here means the practicalities stay simple. We share the same cultural shorthand — nothing gets lost in translation, whether we’re talking timelines or the small, almost invisible details that matter most to you.
Whether you’re exploring elopements and intimate weddings in Croatia or a full-day celebration, having someone who understands both sides makes a huge difference.
"You can see the story behind every photo"
— Elopement Dubrovnik
Observed, Not Orchestrated
I won’t turn your wedding into a production. There’s no performance required.
I might quietly suggest we move a few steps if the moment, or the light needs it. You don’t need to pose. You just need to be yourselves.
When that happens, the images feel effortless and still extraordinary. This approach works anywhere along the Dalmatian coast — from a quiet hilltop elopement near Split to a ceremony tucked in Dubrovnik’s old town.

Real Moments. Not Rehearsed Ones
If you’ve spent more than ten minutes searching for a photographer, you’ve seen a lot of perfectly posed pictures. They look beautiful. But years from now, they won’t be what you remember.
It will be your granny wiping away a tear during the vows. Your best friend losing all composure on the dance floor. The way your partner looked at you when they thought no one was watching.
Yes, I’ll take the photo of you hugging your granny. But it’s the fleeting, unguarded moments that are the best images. The ones that make you laugh, then cry, then laugh again. That’s what lasts.

You’re Not Crazy for Choosing This
Eloping to Croatia isn’t impulsive; it’s intentional. I know — because we did it too.
In 2001, I proposed to Klaudi on the terrace of the Hotel Excelsior. A year later, we married at Sv. Vlaho and celebrated at Fort Lovrijenac. Dubrovnik will always hold my heart. But Dalmatia is full of places just as extraordinary — quiet island hillsides, old stone courtyards, hidden corners by the sea.
Whether you’re working with a planner or figuring it out yourselves, think of me as your man on the ground. If you want inspiration for specific locations, take a look at my Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, and Brač wedding guides.

If this feels like your kind of wedding, tell me what you’re planning.
